At the present time I am an Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Gravity Field Research and Applications (GravLab), Department of Geodesy and Surveying (DGS), School of Rural and Surveying Engineering (RSE), of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) working with Prof. Tziavos' GeoGrav group, also part of the GEOImpact Thematic Network.

My main research interests are on modelling a) the Earth's gravity field at various scales, b) sea level variations both spatial and temporal, c) heterogeneous data combination with space- and frequency-domain methods, d) GPS integration in vertical datum unification with TG, altimetry and geoid heights, etc. From the buttons provided in the left menu you can explore my list of publications, research interests, projects carried out and many more.

Of special interest to the DGS/RSE students is the list with the Undergraduate and Graduate courses that I either teach or participate in the lecturing team. There you can find useful information on the courses, the teaching material (notes, overheads, projects and exercises) as well as a list of proposed topics for your Dipl. Thesis

In June 2006 I have earned the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy from DGS/AUTh, under the supervision of I.N. Tziavos; in June 2002 I received my MSc in Geomatics Engineering - Specialization on Gravity and Reference Systems from the Department of Geomatics Engineering of the University of Calgary under the supervision of M.G. Sideris and in July 2000 I graduated from RSE/AUTh where I did my diploma thesis under the supervision of I.N. Tziavos.
